Fishing, kayaking, tubing
What an experience! And everything so organized. We sure had a great time. We will be passing on our experience to all we know. You've made our group extremely happy and we all will never forget it.
What a Blast!
Fishing, coming back to relax, having supper (without the dishes part afterwards), sipping cold beers while playing pool or sitting in the hot tub. Then crawling into that very comfortable bed and being rudely awakened to the smell of a delicious breakfast
Really is a home away from home
Your hospitality was unreal, the breakfast delicious, the beds unbelievably comfy, and when I wasn't sleeping on the boat, having a lot of fun! I couldn't have caught my first fish without you, mostly because I wouldn't touch it.
You sure made us feel at home!
We could not have asked for a better place to spend the weekend. The breakfast, sauna, hot tub, the room, the yard and the FISHING - loved it all! We may not have won the fishing derby but we got a halibut!
Evening float in the hot tub - glorious!

The icing on the cake
Canada in general offers an extremely high standard of accommodation and nowhere more so than at the Hummingbird. The quiet efficient manner in which you cater to your guests every need.
It pays to Ask!
We were told that the Hummingbird was the best in Port Alberni. They were right! The sauna was great before bed. Wonderful bed and great pillows. We are looking forward to breakfast after reading about it in the guest book.
Such deluxe accommodations
Now that we know, we will be back! Love the big screen tv - couldn't tear myself away from it. The hot tub and games room were fabulous, too.
A Wonderful Stop
before heading back to Vancouver. It was great to have a hot tub after the cold Tofino sea and the best thing was that the room was dark. It is so hard to find real dark rooms to sleep in!
